Dr. Abdullah Usta graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and has dedicated his career to advancing the field of neurosurgery through excellence in patient care, research, and innovation.
Since 2022, he has been conducting postdoctoral research at Mayo Clinic while simultaneously serving as a Neurosurgery Resident at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in the United States. His academic and clinical work reflects a strong commitment to integrating cutting-edge research with advanced neurosurgical practice.
Dr. Usta's clinical and research interests include Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), cerebrovascular and neurovascular surgery, microsurgical techniques, robot-assisted neurosurgical technologies, brain tumors, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), intracranial aneurysms, and complex cranial surgery. He is particularly passionate about the application of emerging technologies to improve surgical precision, patient safety, and long-term clinical outcomes.
With a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine and a commitment to continuous innovation, Dr. Usta actively contributes to research and international collaborations that advance the future of neurosurgery.
